Our Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) services provided end-to-end delivery for complex industrial construction projects. We work across underground and over-land pipeline installation, structural steel supply and erection, mechanical fitting and the installation of major plant and equipment.

We also deliver cladding, roofing and insulation works, along with on-site and off-site surface treatment applications to ensure assets are protected and built for long-term performance.
From equipment installation, bolting and grouting through to final alignments, we manage critical installation stages with precision and care. This includes the installation and alignment of modules, tanks and conveyor systems, ensuring all components integrate seamlessly into the broader project scope.

Catalpa is currently delivering the civil and concrete package for the Bulabul 300 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), previously known as the Wellington 300 MW BESS. The project involves large-scale earthworks, drainage infrastructure, and major concrete works to support the construction of a utility-scale energy storage facility.
