Scope of works

The scope of works included approximately 77,000 cubic metres of cut-to-fill and imported fill, enabling the site to be prepared to design levels. Catalpa also completed the installation of underground services, including stormwater and firewater infrastructure, electrical conduits, and earthing conductors.

Further works included concrete foundations, pavement construction and site surfacing, and the installation of kerbing and fencing, ensuring the site met operational, safety and access requirements.

Delivery

Catalpa delivered the project through a structured and well-coordinated construction approach, ensuring all works were completed in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and environmental standards. Close collaboration with the client and other contractors supported efficient sequencing and timely delivery across all stages of the project.

Outcome

All civil works were successfully completed to specification, providing a fully prepared site to support the ongoing construction and operation of the Collie BESS facility.
